This program unpacks Playstation 3 Theme files (.p3t) so that you can touch-up an existing theme to your likings or use a certain wallpaper from it (as many themes have multiple). But remember, if you use content from another theme and release it, be sure to give credit!
Download for Windows: p3textractor.zip
Instructions:
Download p3textractor.zip from above. Extract the files to a folder with a program such as WinZip or WinRAR. Now there are multiple ways to extract the theme.
The first way is to simply open the p3t file with p3textractor.exe. If you don’t know how to do this, right click the p3t file and select Open With. Alternatively, open the p3t file and it will ask you to select a program to open with. Click Browse and find p3textractor.exe from where you previously extracted it to. It will open CMD and extract the theme to extracted.[filename]. After that, all you need to do for any future p3t files is open them and it will extract.
The second way is very simple. Just drag the p3t file to p3textractor.exe. It will open CMD and extract the theme to extracted.[filename].
For the third way, first put the p3t file you want to extract into the same folder as p3textractor.exe. Open CMD and browse to the folder with p3extractor.exe. Enter the following:
p3textractor filename.p3t [destination path]
Replace filename with the name of the p3t file, and replace [destination path] with the name of the folder you want the files to be extracted to. A destination path is not required. By default it will extract to extracted.filename.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about this theme and accusations on me “robbing” content. First of all, don’t listen to the rude outrageous remarks of ONE person who doesn’t like something thousands of other downloads love. A person like that is only winning when negligent strangers come here to download a perfectly great theme and read and believe what he is saying.
Next, The “pinch” icons were fully licensed over to me for this theme by the original owner, but none of that technical information is any of your business. As an end-user its what you’re downloading and my theme you’re using that’s all that matters- not the legal mumble jumble. You either like the theme or you hate it, but don’t accuse me of stealing anything unless you have facts.
And the “sfere” icons were not stolen and were made BY ME. Themes like this take a lot of time and patience and if you don’t like it then by all means critique me, but don’t bring up bull on the entire theme being some rip off of someone elses material when i work week after week to bring the world the best PS3 themes.
Don’t like the “fluid motion background” then stick with a boring wallpaper. I created this theme to renew life into the only movable theme the PS3 has that will always be apart of your system. With bold new icons I CREATED, hopefully they go well with an original theme built into your PS3. Don’t like it- don’t use it. Want another movable background? Complain to Sony- not me because there’s nothing I can do to sooth your tears.
I wouldnt even care to respond to attacks like this, but since my audience has become so wide and my name widely recognized with high quality and assurance I feel its necessary to defend myself. Companies like Microsoft take tons of criticism and yet people use their products and trust the brand and they don’t even complain back. I won’t be responding like this next time, just remember PS3 owners- don’t believe all the bloated bullcrap of an immature ‘tard.
